Almost home for a week

Working again at the movie theater that I desperately need to quit and have watched two new movies: Fantastic Mr. Fox which was excellent but didn’t live up to my expectations and the Princess and the Frog which I’m watching the last 20 minutes of and isn’t classic disney but is beautifully animated i need this to be my last year at my theater before i go insane

Ok, so among my hobbies that don’t include drinking, Golden Girls, boyfriend pillows, and shuffle board, there in lies my addiction to the food network. I love to come home and get my appetite on with multiple shows whether I love or hate them.
Giada’s “Everyday Italian” falls somewhere in the middle for me because, while I don’t necessarily mind her cooking, she annoys me when she chooses which words to be “Italian” on, (i.e. First we want to add a tomato to the Brrrruusskkkeeettaaaa; and the way she says “arugula” comes out like she’s gagging). Other than that and the fact that THERE IS NO WAY THAT BITCH EATS HER FOOD, I don’t really mind her.

Had the exact same conversation with 3 friends yesterday whilst drinking. Giada is kinda awesome and quite attractive(natalie portmanesq) but she has the same downfall as people who took 2-3 years of french in highschool and decide that every french(giada’s case italian) word has to be said with the most abhorred accent imaginable.

Plaid IsolationI found this old family photo of my brother’s birthday party from 1978. Look how every kid is wearing Plaid! Even our carpet was Plaid! I decided to eliminate everything in the photo that wasn’t Plaid and see what we end up with. And, well.. that’s what we end up with. A pointless experiment, but sometimes you just have to follow through on those weird ideas. fyi: This proves that Plaid comes back into style exactly every 14 years. Think about it: 1978 (see above)… 1992 (grunge) … 2006 (hipsters). PLAID HAS A 14 YEAR ORBIT AROUND THE SUN!

HA the fourteen year orbit is hilarious, I happen to be wearing plaid at the moment and it looks like the girls green skirt in the back, I hope it is that skirt and has just been re-purposed

Today was the day time travel was invited.  Long live Doc Brown.
I can’t believe I forgot about this… makes me a bad time travel enthusiast.

I’ve been talking about this movie ALL week and now I know why. My subconscious is a freaking genius!

Amazon has received more online pre-orders for Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows 7, than it did for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
